Jonathan

Jon is a freelance designer and proud self-confessed geek who looks after the website and design for the group. Originally from Yorkshire, he’s called Burnham-on-Sea home for many years and made the move to Brue Place in March 2025.

When he’s not working on creative projects, Jon can usually be found indulging in his two biggest passions - Disney and Eurovision (ask him anything, he’s got all the trivia!).

Friendly, imaginative, and always happy to help, Jon brings a creative spark to the community and loves being part of it.

Annette

Annette moved to Brue Place in August 2024 with her partner Steve and their much-loved fur baby, Hugo. They relocated from the Midlands in search of a better work/life balance - and haven’t looked back since!

A true people person, Annette loves meeting new faces, having a good chat, and bringing neighbours together. Back in the Midlands, she was known for hosting street parties and get-togethers, and she’s excited to help create that same sense of community here.

She enjoys beach walks with Hugo, soaking up stunning sunsets, and daydreaming about her favourite island- Barbados.

Her door is always open, so don’t be a stranger!

Bev

Bev is a semi-retired Registered General Nurse who recently moved to Brue Place in April 2025. Originally from Weston-super-Mare, she now enjoys a quieter pace of life with her husband Neil, a heavy truck driver, and their lively “something terrier” named Freddie.

Together, they love beach walks with Freddie and anything horsey—Neil even has his own horse! Bev also has a passion for family history research and never misses a good forensic crime drama.

Georgia

Georgia moved into her Bloor Home in late 2024 as a first-time buyer, originally from just down the road in Weston-super-Mare. She’s embraced the next chapter of her life with her four-legged best friend, Alf - who absolutely loves exploring the local area on their daily walks.

One of Georgia’s favourite things about living here? The people. Everyone she’s met so far has been warm, welcoming, and full of community spirit—which makes this place feel like home already.

By day, Georgia works in the cider industry (a proper Somerset job if ever there was one!), and she’s always happy to chat about apples, orchards, and all things local.

Georgia’s always up for meeting new neighbours - so don’t be shy if you see her and Alf out and about!

Julia

Julia has lived on Brue Place with her husband Nick, a retired banker, since October 2023. They moved from Hampshire, where they spent over 30 years, though she’s originally from Essex (yes, really!) and Nick hails from Dorset.

Now enjoying life as a lady of leisure after leaving the NHS when they relocated, she shares her home with Winnie, their lovable cockapoo, and Myrtle, their mysterious black cat.

She and Nick love exploring the area on long walks with Winnie and discovering new places together. When not out adventuring, she enjoys getting creative with art and crafts, and relaxing with a good crime drama or a bit of reality TV.
